Call for Speakers & Topics

We are looking for speakers on the topics below.

We are interested in hearing from nonprofit staff. You do not need to be an experienced speaker!! This is a small conference and a great opportunity for you to get your feet wet with speaking to a group.

Generally, talks range from 15-25 minutes and should include a slideshow or other visual presentation.


 Talks should meet one of these criteria:

– Gives new information or shows an innovative approach to established techniques
– Presents a thought provoking or intriguing idea in an actionable context (i.e. inclusive design as a theory and how to put it in practice)
– Applies complex technique to a range applications

Talks should also speak to our core audiences: web managers, front-end devs, designers, usability & content strategists, etc. We are specifically looking for nonprofit staff to participate. You do not need to be an experienced speaker.


These are just guiding topic descriptions – not intended to be exhaustive or literal.

Session 1: Websites
Topics such as: redesigns, building community, conference sites, etc

Session 2: Digital Marketing
Topics such as newsletters, email marketing, integrated communications, advocacy, converting prospects, etc.

Session 3: Tools & CRM
Topics such as integrating external tools with web properties (CRMs, etc), website management and governance, persuading leadership, etc.
